Meet My Family is aimed at children with delayed learning, including children with autism. The app can also be used to help older people who are struggling with dementia including Alzheimer’s disease.
How does this app help?
The app enables you to record videos, photos and audio clips of family members. Your child then learns through games that prompt them to recognise the family members through the media clips you provided.
How to use Meet My Family
- Just play! The app comes with samples for mum, dad, grandma and grandad.
- Make the app your own by replacing the samples with photos and videos of your own family members.
- Add more content to keep challenging and motivating your child as they progress.
